This is a SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY 

 

Limited Spots Available

The PDS North New Driver Program (32 Hours)

Meets Ohio State requirement to obtain driving license:

 

Classroom Sessions (24 hours) June 1-6, 2026

&

Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) Training (8 hours)

The New Driver Program consists of 12 two hour in person classes and 4 two hour behind the wheel lessons. This provides the 32 hours required by the state of Ohio to obtain a driving license.  

This is a special opportunity that will be offered June 1-6, 2026. 

Classroom Sessions:   Monday – Friday 4:30-8:45pm & Saturday 9:00am-1:15pm. 

There will be a 15 minute break.  You are welcome to bring a small lunch and/or snack for that break. 

Classroom Location:  Newton Field House 201 Pleasant Hill, OH 45359.

Behind The Wheel Training will be at a location in Miami County as designated by the Instructor. 

We offer extended training, beyond State guidelines including:  Off-road recovery, Braking exercises, and Evasive maneuvers

Requirements to Register:

  • Must live in Miami County

  • Must be 15 1/2 - 18 years old by May 11th, 2026.  

  • Must have temporary license then 10 hours of legal driving (documented on state driving log) by June 1, 2026.  

 

Failure to meet any of the requirements voids the registration.  ​

A completed registration form and payment must be submitted to complete registration.
