AJDIP Details

 

  • The cost of the AJDIP (Advanced Juvenile Driver Improvement Program is $200

  • Program is held on select Sundays 9am-4pm

  • Parent is required to attend the entire program with the student

  • This program is designed to assist teen traffic offenders to enhance their basic driving skills

  • The program consists of two hours of classroom and four hours of behind the wheel driving

  • Students completing this program will receive a state issued certificate of completion

  • Classroom topics include:  Physics of driving, vehicle dynamics, proper vision techniques, speed, space management, distractions and driver fitness​

  • The behind the wheel driving portion requires the use of the student/parent's personal vehicle for wet road braking and evasive maneuvers

  • Skid avoidance skills will be taught using the PDS Skid Car
