Terms & Conditions

Complete course consists of twelve (12) two (2) hour classes, totaling twenty-four (24) unit hours and eight (8) hours of practical driving instruction (behind the wheel) based on the “Ohio Driver Training Curriculum”.  Professional Driving Systems shall furnish a licensed instructor for all classroom training. 

 

Professional Driving Systems shall furnish a licensed instructor, insurance, and a motor vehicle for all behind the wheel instruction.  The instructor for behind the wheel will be an active or retired Law Enforcement officer as defined in the Ohio Revised Code. 

 

Full payment is due on or before the first day of class. Classroom portion must be completed within four (4) months of start date. The entire course must be completed within six (6) months of the start date.

 

The parent/guardian and the student will be jointly liable for this agreement in the full amount even if the course is not completed. 

 

Any request for an extension must be in writing to Professional Driving Systems and will be acted upon in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code 4501-7 and 4508. 

 

Any breach of this agreement or failure to meet either deadline will require the student to re-enroll. All classes, and associated costs, must be repeated.

 

Professional Driving Systems DOES NOT guarantee the issuance of a state driver’s license to the student. Certificates of Completion will arrive via e-mail 5 business days from course completion date.  

 

Students must hold a valid temporary permit, have a minimum of ten (10) documented hours of on road driving with a parent/legal guardian. The driving log must be presented to the office prior to class start date and to the behind the wheel instructor prior to each lesson.

 

Classes begin at exact specified time e.g., 10:00AM, 12:15PM, 1:00PM, 4:30PM, and 7:00PM as determined by the atomic clock in the lobby and classroom. 

 

Students who do not attend class #1 or do not arrive before class begins, become ineligible for their registered session and their deposit will be forfeited. 

 

Students who arrive late to class, even seconds late, are not permitted into the classroom and must make up the missed class. Arriving five (5) or ten (10) minutes early to class is highly recommended. Students are permitted up to four (4) hours of training per day. (State Mandated)

 

Students are required to complete all twelve (12) classroom sessions in order to be assigned a behind the wheel driving Instructor. Students are assigned once a week. Each behind the wheel lesson will be scheduled one lesson per week.

    

Once a behind the wheel appointment has been scheduled, the failure of a student to appear on time, to cancel the appointment at least 24 hours in advance or to have their valid temporary permit in their possession will result in a charge of $45. 

 

If a student has all four (4) behind the wheel lessons remaining with only thirty (30) days until their course expiration, all four (4) lessons are not guaranteed to be completed within those thirty (30) days.

All behind the wheel lessons begin and end at our office at 5335 Far Hills Ave. #125 and are scheduled a minimum of one week apart.

    

SKID CONTROL TRAINING – Training must be scheduled and completed within six (6) months of course completion date.  Failure to schedule and complete skid control training will result in loss of skid-tuition.

     

ADDITIONAL TRAINING LESSON – Training must be scheduled and completed within six (6) months of course completion date.  Failure to schedule and complete test prep will result in loss of test prep lesson tuition.

 

Any falsification of records will void this agreement. 

 

No refund will be made to ANY student as long as this school was able to fulfill its part of this agreement. 

 

A $40 fee will be charged on all returned checks. 

 

Driver Training Schools are licensed by the Dept. of Public Safety through the Driver Training Program Office, 1970 W. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43223.
