Jeff Caldwell recently retired after 30 years in law enforcement service. He was assigned to the motorcycle unit with traffic enforcement as his primary focus. Jeff is a certified traffic crash reconstructionist specializing in the investigation of fatal traffic crashes. He is a graduate of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Emergency Vehicle Operation Instructors Course. Jeff has been with the school since its inception as a behind-the-wheel instructor and took over the school in April 2006. His focus is the continued advancement of new driver training and researching advanced techniques. He hopes this will take students beyond the basics to make them more skilled, aware, and knowledgeable drivers.
Professional Driving Systems was formed in 2004 with one mission:  To save lives by providing the highest quality of education and training for new teen drivers. 

Our training goes above and beyond the State of Ohio requirements.  All PDS “behind-the-wheel" instructors are current or retired Police Officers who have backgrounds as crash investigators, traffic specialists, and police trainers.  Our innovative classroom instructors use hands-on teaching techniques to engage students to retain information.  Everyone at PDS has a sincere commitment to minimizing the risk to today's new drivers through education and training that not only produces drivers who are better equipped, confident, and safer behind the wheel, but also makes a lasting impact on the seriousness of responsible driving.

Since 2004, we have expanded our program to include corporate, skid control training, driver evaluations and Advance Juvenile Driver Improvement Programs are the newest additions!  We bring the same commitment of quality to these programs as we have with our teen driver program.
